CPR (Continuous Product Replenishment)

The Implico CPR add-on provides additional methods to enhance the consumer forecasts of the SAP OGSD system and so deliver a further boost to performance.

 

Adaptive software

One method references both actual and forecast weather data, which weather stations make available at regular intervals. By taking into account more recent, and thus more accurate, weather data and forecasts, you can update virtually in real time the delivery times and delivery quantities of orders that have been placed but not yet delivered.

 

In addition, future requirements and delivery times are automatically updated and adjusted each time a delivery is made to the customer. This makes SAP OGSD an adaptive software, and forecasts become even more accurate over time.

 

Detailed determination of periodic delivery quantities

The Implico CPR offers other methods in addition to consumption-based forecasts:

• determination of regular delivery requirements on a weekly, monthly or annual basis
• determination of regular delivery requirements in calendar days and definable consumption days, up to and including multiple deliveries per day
• determination of delivery requirements based on remotely measured and metered consumption data

 

System-aided group delivery

The Implico CPR enables group deliveries to be made to customers in close vicinity to each other - even if their tanks are not due to be refilled for several days. This considerably reduces freight costs.
