ILTA 2011: Focus on terminal management and data communication

04/28/2011 ILTA 2011: Focus on terminal management and data communicationFurther topics featured by Implico at Stand 851 are integration and distribution

From 6 to 8 June, Houston, Texas will be the location for the 31st ILTA – the leading US trade show for petroleum product terminal management and distribution. At the show, international consulting and software company Implico will be presenting its latest solutions for terminal management, distribution and integrated service station supply. Hosted by the International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA), the international operating conference and trade show will be held at the Hilton Americas-Houston & George R. Brown Convention Center.

At Stand 851, Implico will be exhibiting OpenTAS, one of the leading terminal automation and administration systems. The solution automates all of the logistical and administrative downstream processes in the oil industry. At ILTA, the focus will be on the two modules TMS (Terminal Management System) and BDP (Business Data Processor). OpenTAS TMS brings efficient control to the loading and shipping processes in refineries and terminals. OpenTAS BDP enables flawless data communication between the loading systems and the ERP system – such as SAP, for example. With OpenTAS RDM (Replenishment & Distribution Management), Implico also presents a module that provides automated and flexible support for complete service station supply.

TTS700 will be another focal point. The easy-to-use, out-of-the-box loading solution for FMC flow meters (Accuload and Microload) is based on OpenTAS. At the ILTA Implico will show newly developed plug-ins, particularly for reporting.

Implico will also present SAP OGSD. The all-in-one solution tailored to companies in the downstream industry is marketed worldwide by SAP AG. Developed by long-standing SAP partner Implico, SAP OGSD supports the business processes within the oil industry, including both wholesale and consumer business, and integrates workflows from sales and transport planning through to the automated confirmation of all material movements to company accounting and reporting units.
